Alpharetta Public Safety warns shoppers and drivers to be on the lookout for bears, even in the most unlikely places like a mall

A shopper captured video Sunday afternoon at the Avalon in Alpharetta of a bear cub wandering the mall.

Joakima Douglas was about to enter the movie theater when she spotted the bear cub.

“I said, I have to get a video of this because nobody’s going to believe I saw a bear at the mall,” Douglas said.
