‘Ahuimanu shopping center fully leased

KILAUEA – Let Love BLOOM joins ‘Ahuimanu Mall, which is now fully leased despite the difficult economic environment of the past two years.
The 1,050 square foot boutique offers sustainable clothing, believing that fashion shouldn’t be harmful to the planet or the creatures – human or animal – that reside there. Let Love BLOOM only sells clothes in styles and fabrics that are meant to last a lifetime.
Two new tenants have also recently opened in ‘Ahuimanu.
Kilauea Surf & Skate opened in May from the team owning Hanalei Surf Company, as it expands from its original home with this new location. Kilauea Surf & Skate offers Kaua’i’s largest and most comprehensive inventory of water sports and skateboarding equipment for sale and rental. The new 1,700 square foot Kilauea Surf & Skate store is located next to Kilauea Fine Jewelry in the center along Kilauea Road.
Compass Realty, a national real estate company, has opened its first Kaua’i location. The 880 square foot office is near Kaua’i Government Employees Federal Credit Union and offers real estate sales and rentals.
‘Ahuimanu is a 42,000 square foot neighborhood center that offers a mix of businesses and community services. Anchored in the 12,700 square foot Kilauea Market + Café grocery store and restaurant, the tenants are primarily established Kaua’i businesses that are expanding their operations from other parts of the island to better serve customers on the Shore. -North or new local entrepreneurs.
In the coming months, ‘Ahuimanu will also host:
• Sway Island Living, a homeware and lifestyle store and sister operation to Sway Hanalei, is scheduled to open in August;
• Avalon Gastropub, a popular craft restaurant and bar in Wailua, is moving and is expected to open in late 2022;
• Kenji Burger will open its fourth address at the end of 2022;
• Scotty Browns in Kilauea, a restaurant, lounge and social house, will be the first Hawai’i location for Browns Restaurant Group and Scott “Scotty” Morison of Hanalei, the company’s president and CEO. Its opening is scheduled for 2023.
