MANISTEE – The Manistee County League of Women Voters reminds voters that election information and candidate responses to questions on a specific website dedicated to informing voters of election details are available online.

Vote411.org is a League of Women Voters site that provides personalized, nonpartisan information about voting on Election Day.

“Launched by the LWV Education Fund in 2006, VOTE411.org is a ‘one-stop shop’ for election-related information,” read a league press release. “It’s a place where you can: register to vote; Verify voter registration; Find out what’s on your ballot; Election dates; Information on postal ballots; Polling measurement information; Learn where election candidates stand in your community on the issues; and more!”

Site visitors can also print or email information to use as a reference when voting.

In order to personalize the experience, only the candidates appearing on his individual ballot will be listed.

According to the release, the League of Women Voters has been fighting since 1920 to improve America’s systems of government and impact public policy through education and advocacy.

“The League’s enduring vitality and resonance comes from its grassroots nature, with members operating at the national, state and local levels working with the goal of making democracy work,” the statement said.
