Papa Johns Trophy finalists board a sightseeing bus in London – News


A special Papa Johns trophy wrapped London Bus will travel to Rotherham and Sutton next week to celebrate the two teams securing their place in the 2022 Wembley Final.

Meaning the route to Wembley, the bus will visit Sutton on Tuesday March 29 and Rotherham on Wednesday March 30 between 11am and 6pm on both dates.

Alongside managers and players from the two runners-up clubs, former EFL star Clinton Morrison will join the tour, marking both teams booking their place in the showpiece, where Papa Johns will also be handing out free pizzas.

Starting from Gander Green Lane, home of South Londoners, the bus will visit centers in the Sutton district, before heading to Sutton High Street, Trinity Square.

There, fans will have the opportunity to pose with the trophy, alongside the team’s mascot, manager and players, while there will also be merchandise available for purchase, commemorating the Club’s journey. at the National Stadium.

The following day, the bus will depart from AESSEAL Stadium in Rotherham, New York, stopping at Thornhill Elementary School and St. Bedes Catholic Elementary School to visit local students.

The bus will also stop in Rotherham town center before heading to Parkgate Shopping Center to meet supporters.

The Millers and the U’s face off for silverware under the Wembley Arch on Sunday April 3.
