Stellar @ TE2 is a new mall in Woodlands MRT

Stellar @ TE2

Shopping in Singapore can sometimes feel like training for the Olympics, especially when you find yourself browsing for hours through the labyrinthine malls of Orchard Road. This is why small commercial spaces like Stellar @ TE2 exist so you can get in and out in 15 minutes with exactly what you need.

With 20 stores and a slew of grand opening discounts, this Japanese-style underground mall at Woodlands MRT is about to make things dangerous for your wallet. Here are all the details:

Japanese-inspired MRT shopping mall concept

Stores at train stations are not really new to Singapore. However, at [email protected] you will find convenience stores, restaurants, beauty salons and even a coworking space built right above the train tracks, inside the gantries.

Originally from Japan, this station Ekinaka shopping concept aims to make your life easier. It provides a new source of convenience by strategically placing 20 essential stores on your way to the train platforms. This way you won’t have to travel far for things like breakfast and BBT.

As with most Japanese-themed shops, expect to see minimalist wooden and white Muji-style decor at [email protected]

Up to 50% off and giveaways at 20 stores

We tend to avoid hitting a new establishment the days after it opens to avoid the mass. Unless he offered a slew of sickness discounts, we’d be here with bells ringing.

If you consider yourself a foodie, upgrade to [email protected] as quickly as possible to mark 50% off second cup of Cocolemon drinks and a box of 4 cream puffs for $5 (up to $5.30) at On’Lee Artisan Bakery.

For serious personal care, try the range of discounted massage to Han Dian TCM to relieve aches. Or, treat your locks with a organic coloring session at Organic Express Hair Color Lab for only $49 (up to $99). There will also be free hair products (a $68 value) to win.

Complete list of grand opening promotions.

While you’re there, watch out for the crowds of cult favorites like Killiney Kopitiam, KOI and Swee Heng Bakery.

Besides food stalls and restaurants, other places to score include Cheers Convenience Store, Ace Signature Convenience Store, Nail Palace, Advanced Dental, and Fresenius Kidney Care Woodlands Clinic. There is also a coworking space which will be unveiled soon.

On the serene surface, Woodlands is thick with HDB blocks, playgrounds and parks. But go underground and you’ll find a whole other world of buzzing, web-like train tracks running parallel to strip malls like [email protected]

Pass by July 31 to leave in Treasure hunt and score up to $300. All you have to do is download the WINK+ app to scan the QR codes around the mall and collect your digital coins.

Those who don’t live nearby can expect similar stores to open soon along the Thomson-East Coast Line.
