The best places to live in Derbyshire revealed by website

There are many things that are important to us in our day-to-day lives, be it our work, our family, or just what you plan to watch on TV later.

Either way, one of the most important things in life is where you choose to live. Maybe you are looking to move soon and want to learn more about the area or maybe you are just curious to know more about your current residence.

Looking at a map does little more than show specific areas and locations alongside establishments and services, while NiceAreas.co.uk aims to give each area a description with detailed statistics.

Read more stories from your area.

It claims to use multiple data sources and combines numbers to create a score-like system so it can quickly filter out over 10,000 postcode areas.

The data covers aspects ranging from real estate prices, crime statistics, advertised jobs, highway junctions, train stations, and elementary to college educational institutions. The site also mixes data from the last census taken in an area.

The way the rating system works is simple, the closer the number is to 100 the better that aspect of the area is, so with that in mind here is what NiceAreas.co.uk has decided to be the best areas to live in the Derbyshire.

These include crime scores, house prices, average salary within a 10 mile radius, and employment scores for each area.

We don’t necessarily agree with this list and so we reached out to NiceAreas.co.uk developer Ray Arman for comment, to see how he used the data to create this list and his general thoughts.

However, he unfortunately did not respond to our email, tweet or even a LinkedIn request (yes, we really tried everything!). We’ll update this if it comes back to us, but for now, are you okay with this list?
