The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Admission Card for the Medical Entrance Examination, NEET 2022. This year, a record number of students, over 18.72 lakh, applied to sit the medical entrance test. Students who have registered for the exam can download their admission card from the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. The entrance examination to the undergraduate medical and dental faculties will take place on July 17.

Despite the publication of the admission card, many students have problems in uploading their admission card. for most students, the links activated on the official sites have errors.

Although the NTA has not issued any official statement, at first glance it seems to be due to the fact that a large number of students are trying to download admission cards at the same time. Over 18.72 lakh students have registered to take NEET 2022. This year, NTA also removed the upper age limit to sit for the medical entrance exam. This will not only give a chance to students who could not eliminate NEET on their first or second attempt, but also nurses and related field professionals who studied class 12 with biology as a subject can apply for the exam. For students, this could increase competition.

Step 3: Click on the link, enter your unique identifier

NEET 2022 Admission Card on Alternative Platforms

If a student is unable to download their admission card through the website, they can refer to alternative modes including Umang and Digilocker. Both platforms can be accessed through the website or through a mobile app. Students should follow these steps –

Step 1: Go to Google Play Store

Step 2: Download Digilocker / Umang App

Step 3: Create an account using Aadhar and other details

Step 4: Register the NEET registration number

Step 5: Admit map link available, download

NEET 2022: what to check on the admission card?

Candidates can check their exam center, shift and time listed on their admission card issued by the NTA.

After getting your admission card, check all the details to make sure there is no mistake. If you make a mistake, report it immediately to the ANT. Here are the main things to check in your NEET admission card 2022-

– Last name

– Roll number

— Exam City

— Place of examination

— Schedule of examinations

— Report time

— Covid-19 instructions

— Dress code instructions

If an applicant is unable to download their admission cards from the website, they can contact the helpline between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. or write an email to NTA at [email protected] .

NEET Admission Card 2022: Lesser Known Rules

“Any request to change the paper medium, examination center, date and time provided on the admission card will not be considered under any circumstances,” NTA said in the official notice.

Applicants are requested to keep a copy of the NEET (UG) 2022 confirmation page, admission card and scorecard as these will no longer be available after September 30. The admission card will be useful for uploading scorecards after exams as well as checking scorecards.

In addition, the NTA reserves the right to withdraw the authorization, inadvertently granted if any, to a candidate who is not eligible to appear in the NEET (UG) – 2022 even if the admission card has been issued by the NTA, says the NEET brochure.
