Calling all pumpkin lovers! Personal finance advice site, FinanceBuzz, is looking for a “Pumpkin Spice Pundit” to sample and rate all of the seasonal fall foods at Trader Joe’s.

The work includes FinanceBuzz paying the selected winner $1,000 for the work and a $500 Trader Joe gift card to cover the costs of the fall party.

“You’ll have to work your way through a grocery list, including foods like pumpkin stuffed ravioli and pumpkin samosas,” FinanceBuzz’s announcement said. “For breakfast, you’ll eat Pumpkin Waffles, Pumpkin Cereal, and Cinnamon Rolls. It wouldn’t be a complete meal without fall desserts like apple cider donuts and ice cream. Wash it all down with fall-inspired drinks like apple cider and pumpkin-spiced ginger brew.”

FinanceBuzz says it will use market research to help shoppers decide which foods to budget for and which foods to avoid, according to the press release.

Trader Joe’s did not approve the job offer.

The “Pumpkin Spice Pundit” will take a photo of each flavored item in the fall, write a description and rate it against special criteria. The results will be posted on FinanceBuzz where other shoppers can learn more about the limited edition foods and decide which 5-star item to buy next.

To be eligible, applicants must be at least 18 years old and live near a Trader Joe’s where they can shop in person.
